Automobiles in German Town Discovered Marked with Nazi Symbols in Human Blood, Police Confirm

Officers mentioned they were contacted by a individual who noticed a vehicle in Hanau marked with red-colored substance

Roughly fifty cars have been smeared with what seems to be human bodily fluid in the German town of Hanau close to Frankfurt, according to police.

Cars, building surfaces and postboxes were vandalized, occasionally with prohibited symbols, they announced in a statement.

Law enforcement report they were alerted during the night on Wednesday evening, when a individual observed that a car in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a reddish substance.

The liquid had been drawn in the pattern of a Nazi symbol, they added.

Officers then located multiple other vandalized automobiles and residential walls in the nearby vicinity.

These symbols are prohibited in Germany under legislation banning the visible presentation of symbols from the Nazi era.

Law enforcement say preliminary tests indicate the fluid was probably human bodily fluid.

"There is still no clue as to where it came from; officials are presently not cognizant of any physical harm in connection with the event," they commented.

Municipal representatives stated they were working "to unravel the mystery" and have appealed to the residents for details.

A high-ranking official stated the attack made him without words and had to be addressed promptly.

"This event hits the center of Hanau and reawakens the trauma of the right-wing violent incident in 2020," he stated on a platform, recalling the killing of nine individuals by a shooter aiming at people of immigrant origin in five years prior.
